Who doesn’t love elephants? They are some of our family’s favorite animals at the zoo. I’ll never forget going to see the baby Priya after she was born.

Notice how the baby Priya sticks close to family…in this together. Photo from www.stlzoo.org

She stayed close to the larger elephants in the enclosure. The experienced elephants watched out for Priya and helped her while encouraging her to be independent and capable.

Elephants know something that we would be smart to learn…we are all in this life together. In this together.

This week’s bible art journaling entry is a tip-in with a very simple sketch of a cute little elephant and his friend, a little bird. I tried a new video set-up for this bible art journaling. Epic fail! I had to completely re-do the art part. I am thankful that this was just a simple sketch.

And…I completely spaced the fact that my sketchbook is longer than my journaling bible. But…I love how the fan-folded tip-in turned out. So…happy accident!

Watch this video to see how it all came together!

Now it is your turn to draw some cute little elephants and keep on creating with God’s word at the heart of everything.  I pray that you will grow closer to Him as you dive into His word with me.
