I love this little donkey. He turned out rather endearing, which was a complete accident.  I was mainly going for “hopefully this thing looks something like a donkey at least a little bit.”

This is the bible art journaling entry for the day one devotional of the Time for Miracles series: You Don’t Have to Be Special. (But You are Anyway.) – CLICK HERE if you haven’t read or watched this encouraging devo from Numbers 22.

I used pencil, watercolor pencil, and micron pen for this entry. Every time I use my watercolor pencils, I fall a little bit more in love with this media. They are sooooo forgiving and fun. It always makes me think of those watercolor books I had when I was a kid where the color (already built into the page) magically came to life when I painted with plain water.

I also love that this page is a very good reminder to me that no matter my mistakes or lack of qualifications, God loves me and will use me for His glory and to share His good news. That is a  miracle, indeed!

Here is the video of the page coming together:

Have a wonderful day filled with thoughts of all the miraculous things God has done!
