By this I know that you delight in me:
my enemy will not shout in triumph over me.
But you have upheld me because of my integrity,
and set me in your presence forever.
Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel,
from everlasting to everlasting!
Amen and Amen. Psalm 41:11-13 (ESV)

The original prompt from today was Psalm 16:11, but I have already done a bible art journaling entry on that very verse, so I chose a different verse.

Psalm 41:11-13 Even when it feels like we are being attacked from all sides, God sees the inside. He has set us in HIs presence forever.

I am so thankful for the restorative presence of the Lord. It is amazing that the eternal God, from everlasting to everlasting, invites me into His presence. In fact, He sets me in it. To dwell in His presence forever.

Enter his gates with thanksgiving,
and his courts with praise!
Give thanks to him; bless his name! Psalm 100:4 (ESV)

We enter His gates with thanksgiving. Go right into His courts with praise. It all starts with gratitude…

This project is so good, because as we cultivate gratitude in our lives, we are welcomed into the presence of God.

With God, in His presence, is where we find…
Fullness of joy
Peace
Comfort
Guidance
And so much more.

Action Step: Say thank you to God.

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change. James 1:17 (ESV)

He has sent every good thing that I have ever experienced. Even when things are bad, I still have a million things for which to be thankful. When I start focusing on those and saying thank you, I step into the presence of the Almighty God.

Dear God, Thank You! Thank You for Your presence. Thank you for making a way for someone so much lower than You to spend time with You in Your presence. In Jesus’ name, amen.
